With 2023 in the rearview mirror and 2024 stretching out ahead of us, we wanted to take a moment to appreciate the year that’s gone by. Read on as we reminisce a little about 2023, touching on a few key collaborations, happy customers, and goals for the year ahead.
Bradley Lane Collaboration
We’re proud to have partnered with the Bradley Lane Project – Auckland’s longest-running outdoor mural festival – to bring some life to the drab walls around Auckland. Situated in Glen Innes, this is an initiative that invites community-based artists to make their mark using graffiti techniques on the street’s bland walls.
The result? An explosion of colour, one that brightens everyone’s day! There’s just one thing: you need to get up pretty high to access some of the trickier spots for all that artwork. That’s where we came in. Using one of our state-of-the-art Skyjack scissor lifts, the artists could easily reach all spots on the wall without compromising their paint job.

Celebrating an Achievement: Expanding Our Equipment Line
Finally – and this is nothing to sneeze at – we saw a new member join the Castle Access Hire equipment family this year. Introducing the Skyjack 60ft AJ+ Boom Lift!
The AJ+ articulating boom lift uses optimised gearing and a simplified, energy-efficient hydraulics system to deliver optimal on-site performance at half the energy cost. These boom lifts are excellent when you need extended reach capacity and stability in one smooth package. For example, for erecting building scaffolding or completing external roofing work on a tall building.
